Multilingual performer from London, specialising in character comedy and physical theatre.

After finishing a BA in French and Russian, Jesse then dived straight into the world of theatre, embarking on an MA in Physical Theatre where she met the women with whom in 2013 she’d create an award winning theatre company - Haste Theatre. Haste has created 7 shows together, toured nationally and internationally - generously supported by Arts Council England.

Her other theatrical training includes an intensive clown course at Philippe Gaulier in Paris, a solo performing course with Rhum&Clay, melodrama and comedy courses with well-known performer and teacher, Deanna Fleysher and character comedy courses with Amused Moose. She is trained in improv from SAK Comedy Lab in Orlando, Florida where she also taught clown and physical theatre courses.

Alongside Haste Theatre work, Jesse also does solo character comedy and writes monologues and short scripts. She loves to collaborate and share her work with other artists, expanding and exploring new ideas. She is always keen to develop her physical skills and trains regularly in yoga and circus, including static trapeze and tumbling at the National Centre for Circus Arts.
